Today I am going to review my first Neutrogena purchase- Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Daily scrub. The last time Dad came home, he brought this for me.( 2 years back) But since I wasn’t writing on IMBB, I couldn’t review this. So when he was coming this time, I told him to get this again. There are many variants of these Pink grapefruit daily scrubs by Neutrogena. One has already been reviewed on IMBB called– Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub. What I am reviewing today is another variant of this.  Let’s see how this fared for me:

My experience with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub:

Okay before I divulge if this scrub worked for me or not, I would first let you know about my skin type. I have sensitive oily acne-prone skin. I have no acne on the face as such except for the one or two that come due to monthly cycle. I am very particular about the products I use because anything can trigger acne on my face. Thanks to IMBB, I have found the best products that work for me *happy dance*
Let us talk about the packaging. 😛 The packaging is a pleasant one with pink colored body and a white base. The tube is see-through so you know how much product is left after usage. The cap is a flip cap and closes with a click. On the whole, it is travel friendly with no leakage what so ever.

Now about the texture- The scrub is light pink with very fine grainy texture. When you spread it, the fine white granules are visible. It lathers very well and leaves my skin clean and fresh. The scrub is neither very thick nor runny. A pea sized amount is enough for the entire face for me.

Fragrance– This scrub smells of grapefruits and it is sooo divine *happy dance* I just flip it open and my entire bathroom smells of grapefruit. *happy dance* It is very refreshing *oye balle*

Result– I have been using this scrub for almost 2 years now and still counting. I don’t want to part with this scrub ever. I have tried many scrubs in the market but everything I tried were either harsh or dried my skin completely. This one is a mild scrub and it works beautifully on my skin. It doesn’t irritate or dry my skin. At the same time, it doesn’t work on removing blackheads that much since it is very mild. It hasn’t broken me out these 2 years. 2 years back my skin had a lot of acne and reacted horribly to any product. But now I am very happy with my skin. I don’t have to worry about any acne anymore. I will not say using this alone can make you love your skin. *nonono* One needs to have a well planned beauty regime- make time for yourself everyday and see that you don’t skip that routine.  This product has worked very well for me. The last time Dad got this, my mum gave it a try as well. For reference, she has dry and clear skin. Mostly, the ones with dry skin might be thinking of giving such oil-free scrubs a skip. But it worked very well for my mum too. She wanted more of it. She says it keeps her skin clean and smooth. And the main part- it did not dry her skin. She did not face any break-outs as well. So this time when my Dad came, he brought 5 to 6 huge tubes of these for both of us *hihi* On the whole, this is a must-have for oily-skinned beauties and the dry-skinned ladies can also give it a try.

• Smells uhhhmazzzing. *happy dance*
• Granules are very fine and mild.
• Leaves skin smooth and clean.
• Did not break me out *oye balle* The same applies to my mum.
• Little goes a long way.
• Travel friendly.

Cons of Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub:

• Did not work much on blackheads.
• Availability in India.

Will I repurchase/recommend Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub?

Heck yeah! 😀 I have been using it for 2 years now and will continue to do so forever 😛 I will definitely recommend this to every lady. It is a must-have! 😀
