Today, I will be reviewing the Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in the colour Soft Raspberry for you guys. I watch a lot of beauty bloggers on YouTube and I heard one very famous blogger talk about this color stick and my interest was piqued. So on my next trip to Target (when I was in the US), I picked it up and gave it a try.

My Experience with Neutrogena Soft Raspberry Moisture Smooth Color Stick:

I got this product in the shade Soft Raspberry (60) and I absolutely love it! Let me start out by telling you guys about the packaging. It’s one of those chubby sticks that look like crayons. It has a clear plastic cap so you can see the actual product before buying it and a twist up bottom that you can twist to expose more of the product. The tube is corresponding to the shade inside and has specks of glitter in it that makes it look very pretty.

Moving on to the actual product, the smell is so amazing! It smells so fresh and fruity that I love applying it on my lips over and over. You can also smell it while it’s on your lips and I know that’s an issue for some people but I personally love that.

The stick glides on your lips and is very smooth and moisturizing; it feels like a lip balm. You need about two swipes to get the full color which isn’t bad at all in my opinion.

The particular shade that I got, Soft Raspberry, is very complimenting to the Indian skin tone. I am a tiny bit fairer than most Indians but it will work on people darker and lighter than me. The color is a peach-ish pink with strong brown undertones. It’s got a bit of shimmer in it but not enough to look ridiculous by any means. It has a slightly glossy finish and is not completely opaque, so some of your natural lip colour shows through.

On my lips, you can see that it shimmers when exposed to light and looks a little glossy. It feels exactly like a lip balm and is very comfortable on the lips.

It is transferable and will come off if you drink or eat but it does not leave behind a stain. It doesn’t last very long, I would say about 2-3 hours, but it’s a joy to reapply. You don’t even need a mirror with this shade, since it’s hard to mess up.

• Staying power isn’t too great.

Final Verdict:
One drawback is that it’s not available in India, but if you can find it online, I definitely recommend this product! I will definitely be purchasing it in more colours.
