Hope you all are good and enjoying the weekend. Last month my friend came to India from London and I asked her to bring two more Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer. She saw a variant of this oil free moisturiser in a cute pink packing and brought it for me. I don’t like to experiment too much with my favourite beauty products, but I was not in the position to say anything as she brought it for me all the way from UK. She said it’s almost the same thing and you will like it. Let’s check, if it is as good as Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil free moisturiser or not!

Product Description:

Directions to Use:
First use pink grapefruit daily facial wash or daily scrub to clean skin. Then smooth moisturiser over face and neck morning and evening. Avoid contact with eyes.

My Experience with Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Moisturiser:

Honestly speaking, at first I was reluctant to try this because I am not a fan of citrus smell. Anyway I gave it a try. This variant of Neutrogena oil free moisturiser comes in a cute light pink and white tube packaging. The twist open tube is sturdy and non messy. Very small amount is needed to moisturise your face and neck. There is hardly any difference between Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil free moisturiser and its Pink Grapefruit variant, except the fragrance.

The consistency of the moisturiser is between a cream and gel. The product is very light in texture with a strong fragrance of grapefruit. I really don’t like this fragrance, but after sometime it fades away. So, I have to bear it just for few minutes. On application, it just sinks into the skin. It doesn’t give cool tingling feeling like its other variant.

It leaves a semi matte finish on the skin without any shine or greasiness. The skin feels moisturised and not dry or tight at all. It also claims about Micro Clear technology and says doesn’t clog the pores.

I am using it daily from last one month and it keeps my skin well moisturised, soft and blemish free. It says that it keeps the skin well hydrated for 24 hours, I really don’t feel so. You have to reapply it after 6-8 hours. It even outs the skin tone to an extent and works on light spots really well. Similar to the other variant, it also does not contain SPF. So, you have to use a good sunscreen over this.

It is a good product for oily skin and combination skin beauties. I saw this Pink Grapefruit oil free moisturiser on a few Indian shopping websites, but the price is really high.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Oil-Free Moisturiser?
Not really! It’s the same product and I liked the previous variant more than this one. If you like citrus fragrance, you can give it a try.
