Packaging:

This thick shimmery creamy lip gloss comes in a rectangular plastic packaging with long flexible applicator tip which is slightly different than traditional doe-foot applicator tips. It is completely travel friendly and the surprising factor is every lip gloss smells different this particular lip gloss smells slight vanilla. No one can say “no” to this goodie by looking at packaging and great price.

My Experience with New York Color Liquid Lipshine Lip Gloss – Midtown Mulberry:

I am already glad with less than dollar goodie from NYC and now these lip glosses are like cherry on the cake.  We were looking for a decent and fairly priced lip gloss for ourself and my cousins when we spotted these gorgeous lip smacking goodies. We immediately picked up all the shades as they were so gorgeous and my kind of colors. To my surprise, every gloss is unique in itself. All of them are mildly scented which is not bothering and disappears after a few hours of wearing them on the lips.  I am pretty sure my cousins are definitely going to kiss me after getting them 😛

Midtown Mulberry is a creamy berry color with slight shimmers which are hardly noticeable.  I love this gloss the most as it gives a reddish pink tint on my lips with 3D effect as NYC claims. I usually wear it alone or on top of my Maybelline Color Whisper Pink Pop and believe me, Midtown Mulberry really takes this color to new horizons! I am really obsessed by this gloss and wear it almost every day 😛 I feel it will look great on medium skin tones as well as fair skinned beauties. It seems to be a universal shade which will suit every age, be it a naughty cute college gal or a new bride. Coming over to its texture, it is the most creamy and slightly runny amongst all the shades I guess. It does not dry out my lips and neither bleeds even though it seems so runny.

This gorgeous shade managed to stay on my lips for 4-5 hours even after heavy meals and water sips. I was surprised and happy to notice that this thick berry tint remained on my lips even after washing my face with water. Thankfully, the stickiness and shimmer are not bothering.  I am really impressed by their quality and pigmentation at nearly half the price I pay for lip glosses from other brands.  It is worth every penny.  I am getting all the shades very soon, what about you gals?

• Gorgoeus creamy berry color.
• It has very fine shimmer, which does not look odd.
• The gloss is very creamy and runny in nature.
• Even though it is runny in nature, it does not bleed or settle into fine lines.
• It has pretty decent staying power of 4-5 hours with heavy meals and water sips.
• It will suit almost every age.
• It will look great on medium skin tones as well as fair skinned beauties.
• Mildly scented goodie which disappears after a few minutes of applying.
• Travel friendly and attractive packaging at such an inexpensive price.

Cons of New York Color Liquid Lipshine Lip Gloss – Midtown Mulberry:

• It may feel a little heavy on lips though it is a minor issue for me.

Apart from this minor issue, I don’t feel there is any need of thinking too much about these dirt cheap goodies. Just rush to the store and get all the goodies. They are awesome, believe me. I wonder why I never noticed them before! Use it yourself or gift to your loved ones, nobody will ever say “no” to your choice 🙂
