I have a shampoo review today from Nexxus. I had seen reviews for this brand on IMBB but had never used any product. I needed a shampoo for my colored hair that had been getting very dry and frizzy. I was recommended this by one of my friends who is a fan of this brand. Let’s see if I became a fan as well!

How to use:
Stylist Recommendation: Apply shampoo to damp hair. Massage into hair and scalp. Rinse with lukewarm water. For best results, use with Color Assure Pre-wash Primer and Conditioner.

My Experience with Nexxus Color Assure Rebalancing Shampoo:

Packaging: This shampoo comes in a sleek baby pink bottle made out of plastic. The cap is sturdy and doesn’t spill product. This would be great for taking during travels as it’s a spillproof bottle.

I have been coloring my hair for the past 3-4 years and I always lookout for hair care products that will help me retain the vibrancy and help me lessen the damage caused by colors. There have been quite a few products I like specially from the Matrix range and Redken so I wanted to try out something new. I got this bottle from my nearest supermarket and all the claims convinced me to buy this.

I used this shampoo 2 days post-hairwash. I used a dime sized amount but it didn’t lather much so I needed more shampoo to work on my entire head. The smell is very mild and floral; I assume it smells of orchids as mentioned. Then I washed off my hair after a mild massage; the hair felt clean but a bit frizzy. There was no residue left after washing but the claim that it enhances color vibrancy is something I am yet to see. I needed more product than my regular shampoo, so this won’t be cost effective for a daily hair wash unless I get awesome discounts.
