How is the holiday and festive season going for you?? For me, not much because here everything seems to be custom-made, even festivals that are deliberately done on weekends.  I am not able to digest the fact that the festival was over 2-3 days back in India and it’s being celebrated after all is over, just to be done on a weekend, so that all can attend, okay enough of that rant. I love to apply nail polish, but the patience to sit still to make it a smudge-free affair gets to my nerves and here I have a saver in the form of Nicole by OPI Drying Drops. Please read on to see how it fared.

Product Description:

Dries nail lacquer to a glossy, smudge-proof finish for out-the-door perfection in minutes! With just one drop, nails are dry to the touch in 60 seconds and completely dry in 5 minutes. Plus soothing Jojoba and antioxidant Vitamin E treat cuticles.

Directions For Use:

Remove cap and replace with enclosed dropper. Wait 60 seconds after applying nail lacquer and top coat, apply 1 to 2 drops per nail.

Ingredients:

Disiloxane, Dimethicone, SimmondsiaChinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Tocopherol.

Packaging:

The drops come in a cardboard box inside which the bottle resides securely along with the dropper. The liquid is like water, colorless and odorless.

My Experience with Nicole by OPI Drying Drops For Nail Lacquer:

We always want a perfect manicure but that doesn’t really work perfectly if you happen to be restless and have loads of work or lack the patience like me to sit like a mannequin: D I ruin my manicure in every possible way under the sun, such as trying to use the remote, trying to get hold of something or maybe totally forgetting that I have done my manicure….arrrgh!!! I have sometimes slept believing that my polish has dried off, only to wake up in the morning with all sorts of funny and alien lines on the polish.  I did know about various nail polish drying products available in the market, but what’s the use of having knowledge if you don’t get to buy or use them. I become like a child in a toy store whenever I enter a beauty store because there are so many things I have always wanted *drool* I stumbled on this miracle, why I call it a miracle??? Guess what, this is the magical drop that gets my polish to dry in a minute and also imparts a shine.

The drying drops come in a transparent glass bottle (because glass is the least reactive material) with a dropper. It’s liquid like and without any color or smell. I just apply the base coat, then polish, and then put a single drop of this on each nail – ta da it dries within a minute. If I speak honestly, when I bought this, I was skeptical whether it would work. It seemed to me a marketing gimmick, but I was wrong – it did work. I am happy to own this product as doing manicure is possible for me now.
