Outfit : Nikhil Thampi Yellow Cape

Hi Everyone, 🙂

This is probably one of my most experimental outfits I have done so far. But that’s what I love about fashion. It pushes my boundaries and once I get comfortable, I enjoy the result a lot. I bought this cape not exactly knowing what I’d do with this. I have seen some celebs don this cape in black. But I wanted this in super fun color. What could have been better than yellow? I paired it with a snake print skirt, which I picked up from Asos ages back. Since there was so much going on in the outfit already, I decided to go with just one accessory (earrings) and very sleek sandals.

On day to day basis pairing this cape with solid white and black separates is always the option. 🙂

What do you think? Would you sport something like this? 🙂

Have a great day everyone. 🙂

it is very interesting to see these shoots , off-course these make a style statement. I always wonder should we buy these clothing’s ? kinda where will i wear them , can’t go shopping in these and neither to workplace …. what do you do Rati with this stuff around – wear on some vacation ?

seriously you have guts to try these outfits and carry them well , at same time re-usability in pocket friendly , would love to see some looks books of your where we can do something with same dress and try various combinations and styles …muah..

    1. NJ this cape can be worn with black and white bottoms very easily but it has been done before and I wanted to try something new. Thankfully i stay in Delhi, which is quite fashionable and people enjoy dressing up here. So I end up repeating a lot of my outfits in real life. I keep posting my everyday looks on Faux Pas’ facebook page. Please join that. :)) Thank you :))

  14. hey rati,
the mix of 2 bold colurs looks fantastic … and the asymmetric hem lines are such a rage and you have pulled it off very fashionably …

  15. HEY RATI…YOU LOOK FABULOUS..!!! *clap* *clap* *jai ho*
i am 23 and i just started working…my dressing style is a tad bit boring and safe…could you do a post/ tutorial on how we could dress up edgily or invest in a few statement pieces regularly…according to whatever is available in india…i would love to see such posts..! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  16. WOW!! I seem to be saying that with each of your Outfit posts! Yellow has never been my colour of choice – on self or on others….but you seem to change that for me. The outfit, the pairing, the little details of matching the blue in the skirt with the nailcolour on your toes – very very ubber cool!! N the sandals are to die for – very classy! Me, likey!! *clap* *clap* *clap*
