As we age, our skin loses its elasticity. Keeping the skin well moisturized and cared can delay the elasticity loss. There are several lotions available in the market today that help you to combat these issues. I recently picked up Nivea Q10 products for body as I had very good results from the other variants previously. Today’s review is all about Nivea Q10 4 in 1 Firming Body Oil. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Nivea 4 in 1 Firming Body Oil with Q10:
The product comes in a blue light cardboard package. The product is unsealed and there is all the necessary information on the box. Once you open the box, the oil is present in a blue transparent sturdy plastic bottle with blue screw cap. The cap closes well and there is no chance of leakage. This makes the product a good travel companion. I like the package.
The oil is transparent and has a runny texture. It is extremely light and feels like water. The smell is amazing. It is floral with some woody notes. It feels almost like perfume and I smell notes of jasmine and sandalwood too. The smell stays for a long period of time which is a big plus.
The body oil is a blend of several oils and from the ingredients you can see that it is a mixture of Macadamia, Avocado and cotton seed oil with the blend of coconut oil derivatives and also the added benefits of Q10. The body oil claims that it can be used both on wet and dry skin and is suitable for all skin types and even safe for pregnant women. The product gets absorbed well when used on wet skin but when applied on dry skin, it does leave a greasy residue behind and it takes a while for the oil to get absorbed onto the skin. I am not as fond of it as it feels a little sticky due to the oil texture. The product doesn’t contain mineral oil which is a big plus.
The oil can be massaged onto the skin in circular motion and once absorbed, it makes the skin very smooth and soft. It instantly hydrates the skin and fills it with moisture and makes the skin very supple. The skin feels like it has been well massaged. The product provides intense nourishment to the skin and prevents any dryness. I have very dry skin and I have noticed that it prevents any occurrence of dry flakes and the moisturization factor stays more than a day! Once in the morning and I am good to go till the next day. It soothes the skin which is best if you have dry itchy skin.
This property of the oil makes it a perfect choice for pregnant women to face issues with dryness on their belly due to stretching. The oil also tones the skin. I am yet to see any firming effects and it has been almost 2 weeks since I have been using and there is very less noticeable difference and thus, maybe the claim of firming within 2 weeks is a little bit exaggerated. The product also reduces appearances of stretch marks which is good. Overall, it is a good moisturizing and nourishing oil especially if you have dry skin. For me, since spring is almost here and the weather is getting better, I would not be using this oil a lot and probably will save it for winter days when I need intense nourishment.
