Hali Halo everyone!
I normally prefer to epilate my legs, but due to time constraint, I switch to shaving. The only problem with shaving is that hair grows back the very next day. I love to keep my skin hair-free because it gives me smooth skin which boosts confidence. As I mentioned in my previous review, Nivea Shower and Shave 2-in-1 Showergel, Nivea has launched a new range of products. Today I will be reviewing the After Shave Body Lotion from the range. This product is intended to be used after shaving, especially by women.
The NIVEA after shave lotion soothes the skin immediately after shaving and provides 24 hours moisturising. For a relaxed and silky smooth skin. Skin compatibility dermatologically confirmed.
Specifically developed for use after shaving.
How it Works:
The non-greasy formula with Panthenol soothes the skin immediately and prevents skin irritation after shaving.
€ 3.25 for 250ml or approximately 230 INR for 250ml

My Experience with Nivea After Shave Body Lotion:
The packaging is little different from the normal Nivea body lotions. It looks like an ugly shaped bottle. It has a thin flap cap to open and close. The flap cap is as thin as a coin and I fear that it might break off. Till now it’s fine though. The body lotion has a thin consistency and it’s not creamy. Due to the fact that it’s runny, it spreads over the skin easily and quickly. There is no need to drag. The lotion also gets absorbed into the skin within seconds.
The best part is that the lotion, when applied, provides a cooling effect to the skin. I really love the cooling effect on the abused skin. I am sure my skin thanks for it. The product contains panthenol and provides the required moisturizing. The product doesn’t cause any kind of irritation or burning sensation to the skin nor redness. I have had the burning sensation with other normal body creams. I have very sensitive skin and this product is suitable for sensitive skin.
The fragrance is not very strong. It has a typical Nivea smell, more lady like. 😉 The skin feels cared for and moisturized for almost 5 hours or so. Overall it’s a great product that takes care of your skin after it has been through hell (shaving, waxing or epilating). It’s a great way to pamper yourself. Such small things bring a great deal of happiness, especially to me.
Pros of Nivea After Shave Body Lotion:
• Mild fragrance
• Provides a cooling effect to the skin
• Skin feels soft and smooth
• Doesn’t irritate shaved skin nor cause redness
• No burning sensation when used on freshly shaved skin
• Suitable for sensitive skin
Cons of Nivea After Shave Body Lotion:
• Packaging could have been little attractive

Would I Recommend Nivea After Shave Body Lotion?
The skin needs some kind of pampering after experiencing the sharp blade; show your skin some love and you will appreciate the product.
