Nivea Color Passion Lipsticks in Lingerie Pink and Rouge d’Amor
Nivea is one of my favorite brands for lipsticks when it comes to pigmentation. Somehow, the brand never seems to go wrong with their lipstick’s pigmentation EVER. Nivea launched their new collection by teaming up with French lingerie designer Chantal Thomass back in 2009 and the collection is still selling real well. Its real disappointing that Nivea Cosmetics are nowhere to be found in the Indian Market (excluding lip glosses/lip balms and skin care related products).
I own a few cosmetics from the Nivea Chantal Thomass Cosmetic Collection. Today, I’m reviewing the shade Lingerie Pink and Rouge d’Amor that I’ve been using for a few weeks now.
Lingerie Pink and Rouge d’Amor are one of my all-time favorite lipstick shades. They’re absolutely gorgeous, glamorous and super sexy.
Lingerie Pink is a silky dark pink color with a slight purple shine and has a beautiful satin finish. The shade reminds me of Victoria’s Secret lingerie because of the bright color.
Rouge d’Amor is a sultry red, slightly bright, but it is very wearable. It tends to bleed a bit as compared to the Lingerie Pink shade.
I love how girly this collection is with words like glamkiss, paris, chic, lady love, etc., printed all over the lipstick packaging.
The pigmentation is so good that the lipstick swiped over the lips just once is enough for full coverage. Even when it fades away, it leaves a very beautiful lip tint. The staying power isn’t great, but it stays for a good 3-4 hours. It doesn’t set into fine lines of the lips, but it does tend to bleed a bit. I would suggest using a lip liner before applying this lipstick because Nivea lipsticks are really smooth and silky.
If the shade is too bright for you, you can always blend it out to make it look lighter. I’ve tried it and it looks real pretty. Blending Nivea lipsticks to make them look lighter is super easy as they’re silky and well pigmented.
This is how they look on my lips (the red one is with flash and the pink is in natural light).

Pros of Nivea Color Passion Lipsticks in Lingerie Pink and Rouge d’Amor:
- Super pigmented; even when it fades away, it leaves a beautiful lip tint.
- The collection has some of the most beautiful shades including this one.
- Pretty affordable.
- Doesn’t settle into the fine lines of the lips.
- Love the packing.
Cons of Nivea Color Passion Lipsticks in Lingerie Pink and Rouge d’Amor:
- Doesn’t have a very good staying power (4 hours maximum).
- Tends to bleed slightly in humid weather conditions.
- Not available in India.
Would I Repurchase Nivea Color Passion Lipsticks in “Lingerie Pink” and “Rouge d’Amor”:
Absolutely! I own a lot of the products from this collection already.

The swatch looks gorgeous..quite pigmented! :waytogo:
Perfect for Oh-So-Dramatic look.. :preen: I do use your tip of blending super-pigmented lippies with nude ones & customize my own shades..!! These shades can surely be used as concentrates for ppl like me who wuldn’t prefer ’em alone..and they look cute..not jazzy.. 🙂
Wow! I never knew Nivea made cosmetics too!! These look great. The lingerie pink reminds me of the shade “iced orchid” from maybelline colorsensation moisture extreme range. :specs:
