Today I am reviewing Nivea Cream Smooth Mousse Body Wash. It was so much fun using the other variants from this range that I went ahead and bought this ‘Smooth’ version too. Read on to find out what I feel about this one.

My Experience with Nivea Cream Smooth Mousse Body Wash:
The packaging is sleek and resembles a deo spray container. It’s light blue in color and looks very pleasant to the eyes. It has a transparent cap on top which opens and closes easily most of the time. The cap clicks, making sure that there is no accidental opening. So, it’s very safe to travel with. The top of the container has a broad dispenser. One problem I have noticed with this packaging is that after around weeks the dispenser gets loose. The cap is pretty secure and, when pulled with force, it loosens the neck of the dispenser. But it has never completely come off. So, I guess, it’s not a big issue. Also, since the cap has a smooth surface, pulling it in the shower is a bit difficult.
It’s required to shake the container before every usage. The container is metal and opaque. It’s not easy to know how much product is remaining due to the opaqueness.
The mousse is white and creamy in texture. The fragrance is sweet and mild. The fragrance is not overpowering and doesn’t interfere with the fragrance of the body cream or perfume that you would use later on. The fragrance after the shower also doesn’t last long. I would say it lasts for 10 to 15 minutes maximum. The problem I find while using the product is the amount of mousse I need. I spray the mousse over and over again. I always feel I need more! It’s a nice but different feeling to use mousse as a body wash. It reminds me of some shaving cream.
I apply the mousse on wet skin. The mousse doesn’t foam any further after application and kind of almost disappears. Washing away is the easiest part. With very little water I was able to wash away the entire product. This mousse feels so good and relaxing on the skin. The skin feels silky smooth after usage. After emptying 2 bottles, I still use quite a bit of the product. So the whole bottle lasts for 15 to 17 days max. Of course, the skin feels clean and nice. The product does not cause any kind of skin irritation or reaction. My kids have also used it a few times and they love it too.

Sure. I am loving the product and it’s also fun to use. I wish Nivea came up with more options. I would also love to try out such products from other brands.
