My Experience with Nivea Cream Soft Mousse Body Wash:

The packaging is sleek and resembles a deo spray container. It’s light blue in color and looks very pleasant to the eyes. It has a transparent cap on top which opens and closes easily. The cap clicks in making sure there is no accidental opening. So the packaging is very safe to travel with. The top of the container has a broad dispenser.

It’s required to shake the container before every usage. The container is made of metal and is opaque. It’s not easy to know how much product is remaining due to the opaqueness. The mousse is white and creamy in texture. The fragrance is the sweet and mild. The fragrance is not overpowering and doesn’t interfere with the fragrance of the body cream or perfume that you would use after shower. The fragrance after shower also doesn’t last long. I would say it lasts for a maximum of 10 to 15 minutes.

The problem I find while using the product is the amount of the mousse I need. I spray the mousse over and over again. I always feel I need more! It’s a nice but a different feeling to use mousse as a body wash. It reminds me of some shaving cream. I apply the mousse on my wet skin. The mousse doesn’t foam any further after application and kind of almost disappears. Washing it away is the easiest part. With very little water I was able to wash away the entire product.

This particular mousse body wash has almond oil which happens to do wonders to the skin. I love the fact that it has almond oil. My skin feels silky for sure after use but also a little dry. I guess I am still in the “getting used to” phase of the mousse and feel not-so-clean after the shower. I am sure it’s all in the mind. I wouldn’t recommend it to people with dry skin, though.
