I love trying different bath and body products. Since I wanted to try something floral this time, I gave Nivea Creme and Oil Pearls Cherry Blossom Shower Cream a try. Let’s see how it fared.

My Experience with Nivea Creme and Oil Pearls Cherry Blossom Shower Cream:
The packaging looks just lovely. It comes in a big tube packaging with a flap lid. The whole packaging is very sturdy and travel-safe. Since it’s in a tube, which is not so common for shower gels, it looks kind of fancy. Also, the whole packaging is dark blue in color (the typical Nivea color) with a dreamy picture of cherry blossom. Also, the golden font makes it look great. Packaging is really good and I have no complaints.
The shower gel is white in color with yellow oil pearls. The texture is creamy and comfortable to use. The oil pearls are very soft and not like the exfoliating beads. The oil pearls are very small (smaller than mustard) and kind of melt when used on the skin. The pearls are extremely mild on the skin. The shower gel itself looks like a shampoo. It’s kind of translucent. These pearls are supposed to contain argan oil, which we all know is very moisturizing.
The shower gel – when used on wet skin – turns very creamy and feels very rich and pampering. It does not produce a lot of foam but sufficient enough to satisfy oneself. The oil beads melt away as you work with the gel and release the oil. This product is really nourishing and I enjoy using it. Nivea has done a good job with this product. The fragrance, as the name suggests, is of cherry blossoms.
I personally love cherry blossom fragrance and hence love this product. Cherry blossom is not for everyone so pick this up only if you are okay with the fragrance. If not, you still have 2 more options to pick from. The cherry blossom fragrance feels a little artificial to me. You can realize it if you really smell it up close; on a day to day basis, you will not realize. After the shower, the skin feels very soft, smooth and nice.
The fragrance of the shower gel lasts a few hours and fades away with time. The fragrance makes this shower cream a perfect fit for summer or spring. One can even skip the body lotion if you do not have dry skin. Overall, it’s a lovely body wash and I enjoy using it.
