I love travelling and always have handy packs of everything in travel-sized bottles. I have used Kara wipes and always hand them in my bag and carried it everywhere. This time I decided to buy wipes from Nivea. During my recent trip, the hotel provided us wipes from Nivea and I loved them so much. I picked up both the variants available in Nivea daily essentials cleansing wipes: for Normal & Combination Skin and Dry & Sensitive Skin. Here, I will review the first one I used, that is, Cleansing Wipes for Dry & Sensitive skin.

My Experience with Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Face Cleansing Wipes – Dry & Sensitive Skin:
I do not use wipes very much but they are a must have in my bag. When I go on trips, I prefer wipes as it is must easier to carry them than the bulky cleansers. The main reason I picked this one up was because it is for sensitive skin. My skin tends to be sensitive during the colder months and my skin care contains everything suitable for sensitive skin. Due to the harsh winters, my skin also gets dry and this wipe was a perfect combination of both and I picked this one up.
The packaging is cute. It comes in a white and pink packaging and has a tamper seal between the opening and the packaging. It can be assured that the product is still new and has not been used. There is a small flip tape through which you can pull out the wipes. The opening is small but you can pull out the wipes easily. The tape can be used to close and it sticks back to the packaging. The wipes are soft and has a pleasant fragrance similar to the products in this range. The wipes have a normal texture.
Coming to its property for removing the dirt and makeup, the wipes effectively remove the dirt and layers of makeup effectively. Even the waterproof eyeliner and mascara are effectively removed. After cleansing the face looks refreshed, soft and cleansed. The wipes don’t irritate skin or cause redness. The best part of the product is that it is alcohol free and doesn’t dry out the skin further.
The wipes are a little dry and I observed that the wet part is only at the ends. Also, the wipes dry even though they are in the pouch and this was something that has to be improved. But other than this, the product didn’t cause any breakouts or irritation whenever I used it. The skin feels much hydrated and no residue is left behind. It is not necessary that you have to wash your face following the wiping. So the conclusion is that other than the drying of the sheets, there is nothing wrong with the product and I hope Nivea comes with a solution soon for the same.

No! The wipes dry out losing the only purpose they serve! But if they improve their packaging I would definitely buy again.
