My Experience with Nivea Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream Dry and Sensitive Skin SPF 15:

I have a love relationship with Nivea products. I was recently looking for a good moisturiser for harsh winters when I came across this light moisturising cream. The cream comes in a white-pink tube packaging. It is pink in colour and the combination is similar to the colour of Nivea dry skin range. The flip cap is very tight and shuts with a click, thus there is no spillage or leakage. The mouth of the moisturiser is small and thus it dispenses the right amount of the product. All information is present on the outer package but there is only basic information on the tube.

The cream is white in colour and is creamy and thick. It smells fresh and has that typical Nivea scent. The cream is lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy. The cream gets instantly absorbed by the skin. While it doesn’t leave any greasy residue, considering that the product is made for dry skin, it does add a little shine to my face. But it is not too much. The cream is very soft and is easy to spread on the skin. It hasn’t caused me any breakouts. The cream makes the skin smooth. Since I have combination skin, it works like a miracle for the dryness. It completely smoothes out the dry patches and the skin stays hydrated for more than 6 hours. This is a product that is a must in winters!

I use Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation and it makes the skin dry. Hence, I mix this cream with it and I have had no issues at all! It adds a little bit of shine to my T-zone but I blot it away every once in a while. The cream is a good primer too and makes the makeup last longer. It creates a clean, moisturised and dryness free face for makeup. The cream is very good and if you have dry skin, it is a boon! However, it does contain parabens so if you are looking for a paraben-free product, this is not for you. The cream is also enriched with SPF 15 so it also prevents the harmful rays from penetrating the skin.
