Hello beauties!

Recently, some relatives of mine came over from Australia and they were so sweet to break the monotony of same old chocolates and perfumes as gifts! They got some wonderful skin products as well! This Nivea Foaming Cleanser was one of the gifts.  Apart from my Ciplasaslic one, I have never used a face wash in mousse form and since Saslic is my HG cleanser, I was more than excited to try out this one.

It is somewhere between 8-9 Australian $ for 150 ml.

My Experience with Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Cleansing Mousse:

I wonder if all the cleansers in mousse form have the same packaging! Transparent, cylindrical, pump style bottle with white cap except that this one is bulkier and blue in colour (though it does have a pink variant as well for sensitive skin). I like this simple and fuss-free packaging which looks classy on the shower rack.

This face wash is in liquid form in the bottle, but once you pump, it comes out in a foam form. It has a very light refreshing fragrance, just like the Nivea after shave.  Its gentle, refreshing and hydrating enough for oily skin in winters. I think dry skin will find it all the more drying in this weather. Though they should definitely try it out in summers.  Moreover, I think this cleanser has that summery feel to it, blue transparent foamy liquid! Most of us prefer creamy face washes in winters, even oily skinned people like me when their skin behaves in a better way.

I would say it can be used as a basic cleanser for normal skin because it does not do anything for acne or blemishes, but then it does not claim it! It just mentions to hydrate your skin and in that aspect, it works.

• Contains vitamin E and hydra IQ.
• Great everyday cleanser for normal skin.

Cons of Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Cleansing Mousse:

• Not available in India yet.
• Not suitable for dry skin in winters.
• Doesn’t do anything extraordinary for your skin.

Do I Recommend Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Cleansing Mousse?

If you have a problem-free and normal skin and if you are looking out for a basic everyday cleanser, go for it, without second thought.

Will I Repurchase Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Cleansing Mousse?

No, I have a skin full of flaws and will stick to medicated face washes for that and any way, I am not getting it here in India.
