Wipes are handy when you are travelling. I bought these wipes for the very same purpose. I had bought 2 variants of Nivea wipes: for Dry skin and Combination skin. I have already reviewed the Dry skin wipes and today I will review the other one. So read on.

My Experience with Nivea Daily Essentials Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes – Normal & Combination Skin:
I always have a pack of wipes in my bag for emergency purposes. While I used the dry skin wipes for the travel, I kept these in my bag for daily use as I have combination skin.
The packaging is satisfactory. There is a sticky flap that closes a small opening from where you can pull the tissues. The opening is small and I wished that it was a little bigger and instead of a flap, it would have been nice if it came with a plastic locking system. The previous ones dried out very fast while using and I am scared that this one would too! Some extra work has to be done to secure tight packaging.
The wet tissue has a box rigid texture and is very different from the other wet tissues. The tissue has little bumps on them and I am really not sure why the texture is so. The smell of the tissues is pleasant and similar to Nivea soft cream.
The cleansing part of the tissues is satisfactory. It cleanses the everyday makeup without any hassle but when it comes to heavy makeup, it can be little troublesome. You have to press hard and rub it to remove the makeup. The same goes for waterproof makeup. This got me a little disappointed as I had to remove the eyeliner and mascara with some force and I know how sensitive the skin around the eye is and I wouldn’t love to do this. The tissues do not leave any oily residue behind. Within 5 seconds after using the tissue, you can feel very fresh and the skin is moisturized and hydrated. It doesn’t cause any irritation to the skin and also doesn’t cause any redness and is a perfect product for sensitive skin too. I have now been using this product for cleansing after a work out or a jog or when I have to be lightly refreshed before a touchup.

• Need to put a little force to remove heavy makeup.
