My Experience with Nivea Diamond Gloss Care Styling Hair Spray:

The product comes in a metallic blue silver pressurized metal can with a plastic top which has the spray option. The product is unsealed. There is information on the back of the bottle. The can is pretty big but there are no chances of accidental pressing and this makes the product travel-friendly. However, if you are just taking your hand luggage when flying, there is also 75 ml can available and you can opt for them. The product sprays the liquid effectively and without any hassle. It is a spray like mist and this helps the particles to settle down perfectly. There is also shampoo and conditioner from the same range. It is also suggested that you use them in sync to achieve maximum results. The smell is a little light, but it has that pressurized alcohol smell to it and it kind of puts me off. However, it does fade away quickly which is good.

The product has a hold 4 and is extra strong and claims to give a dazzling diamond shine. Let me blow out the bubble first, there is no diamond shine! I have been using this product in all weird ways to see if I am making a mistake or so but, I haven’t noticed any gloss resembling dazzling diamond. The product doesn’t leave any residue, but it does cause a little stiffness to the hair. The product makes the look a little oily like the serum adds and I am not sure if this is what the shine is. The shine is very less noticeable and if you have dry hair, don’t expect any miraculous shine to make the hair look healthy.

Coming to the hold, the product holds the styles pretty good. It can be used for fixing styles and also on bobby pinks to keep them in place. The product does the job well without any issues. The hold goes on for 7-8 hours and I can reapply to make it go strong. The product is weightless and you can hardly feel it if you apply correctly. The product also plays a very good role in keeping the frizz and flyaway at bay. The product can be used to create a sleek back look easily. If there is any stiffness, you can comb it out easily. If you use a lot of spray, it is recommended that you wash your hair well too.

The product makes the hair sticky if there is a lot of product and might not be the best option to leave it on the hair as it is chemicals. The product also comes with heat protection factor and I find this a big plus as you do not have to use 2 different products if you are using heat tools. This way there is no much buildup of the product too. The product doesn’t damage the hair and instead, with the presence of Eucerit, it makes hair very soft and smooth. So summing up
