My Experience with Nivea Extra White Firming Body Serum:
Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. The body serum comes in a small easy squeeze tube with all the product-related information printed at its back. There are various size options available for these body serums. The tube is white in color. It closes with a regular flip top cap, which fits very nicely making it leak-proof and travel friendly.
This body serum has that typical Nivea fragrance, common to all other body lotions from this brand. The smell is mild and not bothersome. The fragrance is quite refreshing. The fragrance fades away gradually and later on it can be sniffed very close to the skin. I love the fragrance of this body serum. The product is suitable for all skin types.
The consistency of the body serum is neither too thick nor too runny. It has the right consistency to work with and spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed within seconds. It does not require too much massaging for it to get absorbed into the skin. The body serum feels so lightweight and comfortable on the skin. It does not have that sticky feel. It does not leave any oily cast on the skin. The absolute lightweight and non-sticky formula makes it an amazing choice to be used in humid weather.
The body serum provides proper nourishment to the skin. It deeply moisturizes the skin and takes away all dryness. My skin becomes super soft and smooth after application. It keeps my skin hydrated for long, but as per the claims, this body serum does not really whiten the skin. I have almost finished the bottle and could not find any skin whitening or lightening effect, but it added a healthy glow to my skin and made it look nourished.
It does not react badly or cause any skin allergies/irritation. It heals and repairs dry and flaky skin. Also, it comes with SPF 33, which makes it useful for sun protection. This serum from Nivea keeps my skin pretty much hydrated for 6-7 hours easily but after that my skin starts to feel dry and requires a reapplication. This may not provide adequate moisturization in harsh winters when the skin gets super dry but it is surely a good choice for summers especially in places with humid weather.
