Today I am reviewing Nivea Gentle Toner for Dry and Sensitive Skin. I am someone who is yet to get into the toner routine. Firstly, because I could not find a toner which suits my skin. Secondly, I don’t understand the exact benefits of using a toner on my skin. Please read on to know how this one fared for me.

Product Description: Nivea Gentle Toner with natural almond oil and Hydra IQ gently tones skin and removes residues and soothes skin thanks to its formula without skin-drying alcohol.

How to Apply: After cleansing your face, apply skin toner to face and neck with a cotton pad. Be sure to avoid direct contact with your eyes.
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, PEG-8, PEG-40, Hydrogenated Cator Oil, Glyceryl Glucoside, Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Trisodium EDTA, Parfum/Fragrance.
Packaging: This toner comes in a light pink bottle with a white flip cap. The baby pink colour is very soothing to the eyes. The packaging is quite robust and travel-friendly – just that I would prefer a smaller version while travelling. The toner is a clear liquid having almost water-like consistency. The product description and directions are given on the packaging itself. The toner has a very light floral fragrance but it doesn’t stay for long.
My Take on Nivea Gentle Toner for Dry and Sensitive Skin:
I have been using this toner for a month now. In fact, I was not using any toner prior to this product on daily basis. I have tried a few toners in past, but none of them could benefit my skin. I have super sensitive and dry skin and I am very cautious with new products. I grabbed this one because it seemed perfect for my dry and sensitive skin.
Overall, I like this product. This is the only toner that I am actually using my skin care regime. What I like about this product is that it does not irritate my sensitive skin, which mostly happens to me. The consistency of the toner is very runny, which is common to all toners, so you need to be a bit careful while dispensing the product. I just dab the toner on my face with a cotton pad after washing my face. I am not a big user of toners so I can’t compare this one with other products. Still, I would say, it leaves my skin clean and moisturised after application.
This variant definitely suits my skin type, so I am going to continue using it. I like using it especially after removing my makeup. My skin feels so clean and fresh after using this toner. I like the fragrance too, but normally the products customised for sensitive skin are not supposed to be scented. I don’t mind it, though.
