My Experience with Nivea Glow Magic Mousse Cleansing Foam:

The product comes in a pink transparent bottle with a pump and a transparent plastic cap which closes well. You can easily see through the bottle to see the contents of the product. The p[product is not sealed and there is some information on the back of the bottle. The cap closes well but there is no stopper on the pump and if the cap opens and there is a press, you can have a bag full of foam. The package is simple and pleasing.

Nivea Glow Magic Mousse Cleansing Foam Review

The magic mousse like the name suggests in a foam. It has a mechanism that creates the foam you can easily apply onto your face. It smells pleasant and not overpowering. With one pump you get enough quantity for the application.
One of the things I hate about mousses is the fact that they do not allow me to work the foam onto the skin. Due to this I do not feel that my face is correctly cleansed. There are 3 products in this range. The eye makeup remover, cleansing foam and day cream. I picked up only the cleansing foam. The product must be applied onto wet skin and then rubbed onto the skin. The mousse is very gentle on the skin and is suitable for all kind of skin types. It feels very light weight and you can hardly feel it on the skin while application. The mousse spreads on the skin very well.

When applied, the foam kind of sinks onto the skin and like the others, within a few seconds you will have nothing to work with and feels like you are rubbing your skin with just plain water. But, you notice the residue when you wash your face again. Once you pat dry, you can see very squeaky and clean skin. It cleanses the skin thoroughly without any issues and cleans the pores too. It adds a radiance but this is just short lived and fades away within minutes. The product makes the skin very soft and smooth too. It doesn’t super dry the skin like other face washes but you can feel a little stretch and following up with a moisturizer is a must to make sure that you don’t end up with dry flakes on the skin. The product is also suitable for sensitive skin and doesn’t cause any irritation. I didn’t have any breakouts too. But, it doesn’t reduce or dry out any pimple if you have any.

When you use a toner you can hardly see any residue. While it is great for bare skin, I would recommend using a makeup remover prior to using the foam as it is the not the best in removing makeup. The product is just a basic cleansing foam and doesn’t have any other properties like reducing the sebum production on the skin. The product doesn’t contain paraben but does contain sulfates. Overall, it is a good cleansing foam but I am not a foam person and wouldn’t repurchase it.

I would recommend the product if you are just looking for a cleansing foam but if you want more, this is not for you. I wouldn’t repurchase it as I am not a foam person and would stick to my amazing Holika Holika cleansing products now.
