My Experience with Nivea In Shower Make Up Remover for Sensitive Skin:

I hate to use a makeup remover and then to wash my face in the evening. Its all so time consuming. It feels like a dream to have a face wash, which can remove the makeup and also cleanse the face.

Nivea In Shower Make Up Remover for Sensitive Skin claims to do it and I wanted to give it a try to ease my life.

It claims that you will not have Panda eyes after using it as makeup remover plus face wash. Guess what! It does give you panda eyes every time you use it. Even if you wash your face twice! It claims to remove makeup and mascara. But, it just does not work.

The packaging is not good. The bottle or tube is kind of round and it is made of a kind of hard plastic. It is difficult to get the product out. You need to squeeze quite hard, then drops a dollop of product on your hand.It is not possible to control the amount you want to be dispensed.

The product is enriched with natural almond oil. It is extremely gentle on the skin. After washing, the face the skin does not feel dry. It is suitable for dry skin and also for all skin types during winter months.

So, I prefer to use this product as a normal face wash rather than makeup remover. I have very sensitive and dry skin. Recently, I had a breakout and I think it is because of this. May be, I need a stronger face wash to remove all the makeup and dirt from my face. So, I have decided to stop using this product.

The product is quite oily and can make the shower cubicle or bath tub slippery. So, one needs to be careful while using the product.

I do not think with so many flaws the product is worth a try. I would say, it is a complete waste of money.

  1. Face wash and makeup remover doesn’t work out somehow when in single product. Too bad it didn’t went well for you. I use baby oil or coconut oil to remove my mild makeup and then follow it up by face wash.
