Nivea Men Dry Impact Plus Anti Perspirant Deodorant

Today I am going to review a deodorant which my husband has been using since last 3 years. He is quite choosy when it comes to picking up fragrances. Since he has been such a loyal fan of this deo, I thought it was apt time to bring it forth in front of the world. So here I am reviewing the most awesome anti per spirant.
Product Claims:

With its subtle, fresh fragrance and no alcohol, colorings or preservatives, this deodorant is sure to leave you feeling confident and fresh throughout the day. Powerful, long-lasting protection made easy. Skin tolerance, dermatologically proven.

My take on Nivea Men Dry Impact Plus Anti Perspirant Deodorant:
Packaging: It comes in the usual deodorant can with a plastic cap. The cap keeps coming off so it is not a very travel friendly packaging.
Fragrance: It smells neither woody nor musky, yes quite strange for a deodorant meant for males but that’s how it is. It smells highly of a talcum powder which is not bad. The fragrance is quite strong in the beginning but settles down subsequently.
Efficacy: Now, coming to the most important part, this deodorant lives upto its claims and controls sweat through out the day. My husband does rigorous work out and when he is back from the gym not even a sniff of body odour, he smells as good as ever. Since, it is an anti perspirant it does control sweat to a great extent but does not eliminate it completely. I myself applied this deodorant and through out the day I felt fresh, though it is not my kind of fragrance (I like floral, feminine fragrances). It also did not sting my under arms area nor does it do to my husband.
Staying Power: Through out the day you can smell faint fragrance. I dint check the 48 hours claim but it stayed good for 12-14 hours.
Summarising the pros and cons,
Pros of Nivea Men Dry Impact Plus Anti Perspirant Deodorant:
1. Smells fresh and does what it claims.
2. Does not eliminate sweating but reduces it considerably.
3. Even after 12 hours, you still smell good.
4. Did not sting the under arm area.
Cons of Nivea Men Dry Impact Plus Anti Perspirant Deodorant:
1. Packaging needs to be improved.
2. Initial fragrance is quite strong which sensitive noses would not like.
Would I repurchase/ recommend Nivea Men Dry Impact Plus Anti Perspirant Deodorant?
Well, my husband has been using the same for quite some time now and he seems very happy with it, he would most definitely buy it again. I would suggest all you men out there to try the same once.
