My Experience with Nivea MicellAIR Skin Breathe Oxygen Boost Micellar Water:
The product comes in a transparent bottle with a white flip cap. There are around 3 variants to satisfy the needs of normal, dry and sensitive Skin. I picked up the variants for normal and dry skin. The product comes unsealed and there is some basic information on the back of the product. The cap is a flip as well as a screw cap and you can use it either way. The flip cap is very sturdy and closes with a tight click and there are no chances of any leakage. The quality of the bottle is satisfactory and it is not very sturdy. Overall, the package is quite okay.
The micellar water is transparent and has a runny consistency like any other micellar water. It doesn’t have any distinctive fragrance and is almost odorless. The micellar water can be used on face, eyes and lips, so it is an all-rounder. The application of the product is pretty easy and I prefer the flip cap dispenser as I can use the quantity as needed. Once done, you can place the wet pad to clean away any makeup residue on the skin.
The product claims to be a 3-in-1 product that it cleanses, removes makeup and refreshes the skin without any residue. When I first used the product, I had barely any makeup and it refreshed my face as claimed and I didn’t want to jump to conclusions right away. I tried on the product for other few days with different tones of makeup. The product works well with all kinds of makeup be it waterproof, normal or long-lasting ones. With the waterproof ones, you need to place the cotton pad on the makeup for a little longer so that it soaks the makeup. It effectively removes makeup without a doubt. It also removes any dirt and grime from the face and creates a matte finish. The product is very gentle and very refreshing. The product also leaves the skin very soft and smooth. It didn’t cause any irritation on my skin nor did I have any breakouts. Once you remove makeup, you will still feel there is some residue on the skin and a wash is necessary. I do not leave my skin without a wash because, I can feel that it is still not clean. I didn’t experience that cleansed skin feel after using this micellar water.
The product didn’t work when I used my Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid lipstick. It created a mess on my lips and it was very difficult to remove. But other than that, I have not experienced any problems. Overall, I do not claim it to be the best micellar water out in the market. I still would go back to Garnier Micellar Water as the benefits are way better than this one. So summing up
