How are you all? Hope you all are enjoying this amazing weather. In Delhi, it has been raining since last 2-3 days and it just won’t stop. I just feel like snuggling with a hot cup of hot chocolate or tea and read my book. Today’s review is about a night lotion. Yes, you read it right. It is a night body lotion. I know about night creams, serums and lip balms, but a night body lotion is something new to me. We all know the importance of night skincare products and their repair & healing power. Read on to know how it fared for me!
Try Nivea Body Lotion Whitening Skin moisturizer with Mela Control and Vitamin E. On repeated use, it provides moisturized skin & even skin tone as it works on your skin through the night. Moisturise your skin every night and wake up to that feels cared for.

My Experience with Nivea Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser:
You all would have tried or heard of Nivea’s very famous Whitening Cell Repair and UV Protect Body Lotion. This is a new launch in the same range and claims to repair your skin while you are sleeping making it white by removing the tan and keeping it healthy and moisturized. It also claims to lighten the complexion of your skin and make it even toned. When it comes to whitening lotion, I have always trusted Vaseline and always keep going back to it. But, when I saw this body lotion, I was intrigued to buy it. Like all other products, this one too has a classic Nivea packaging. I had bought a travel sized bottle which easy to handle and carry around.
The lotion has typical Nivea smell and but nice and fresh. It is very subtle and not too strong and does not stay for long and faints away within 15-20 minutes. The consistency of the product is quite thick, but not as creamy as Vaseline ones. But it is very easy to spread on the body. And after applying it, my skin feels light and non-sticky. It gets absorbed into your skin instantly leaving it moisturized and soft. I have been using it for over a month now, and I can tell you that it is good in a way that it moisturizes your skin well in summers, but it does not repair the skin at all.
It has not been effective in removing the tan from my hands or arms and I could not see that lightening effect at all. I had to use lemon to get rid of my tan, but THIS was not at all effective! Also, I feel that this will not be moisturizing enough in winters as it is not really creamy, but is perfect to be used in summers. I was expecting a lot from this one and it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment to me.
Pros of Nivea Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser:
• Easy to spread on skin
• Lightweight, non-sticky and non-greasy
• Perfect for summer; not sure about winter
• Hydrates skin well and keeps it moisturised
• Smells pleasant
Cons of Nivea Night Whitening Skin Moisturiser:
• Does not live upto its claim of whitening
• Does not make skin healthy
• Contains a lot of chemicals
• Might not be moisturizing enough for winter
