My Experience with Nivea Oil in Lotion Vanilla and Almond Oil Lotion:
Nivea Oil in Lotion comes in a light blue bottle with a dark blue flip cap. The design is similar to all the other lotions available. The bottle doesn’t come sealed. The flip cap closes with a click and there is no leakage. The bottle is sleek and is travel-friendly.
The lotion is white in color and is creamy. The lotion has a medium consistency. The fragrance is very pleasant. The lotion doesn’t smell anything like vanilla. The fragrance is a bit floral and the smell stays for a very short period of time.
The lotion contains vanilla and almond oil. The lotion is meant for normal to dry skin. The lotion gets absorbed very quickly without leaving any residue behind. The lotion is very light on the skin and you do not feel anything on the skin. The lotion moisturizes the skin effectively. It nourishes the dry skin in depth. The lotion also makes the skin soft and adds a plump to the skin. The lotion soothes the dry flakes on the skin.
The lotion moisturizes the skin for around 4 hours, and post that reapplication is required. The claim of 24 hours is false. The product can be a good choice for summers or early spring but it can be very light for winters. The presence of almond oil makes it a good product to increase the radiance and it also has an anti-aging effect. The lotion contains silicones, sulfates and also alcohol. The lotion is non-greasy, non-sticky and hydrates the skin for a few hours. It doesn’t cause any irritation or redness and is soothing.
