Nivea Pure and Natural Olive and Lemon Lip Balm Review

Nivea Pure and Natural Olive and Lemon Lip Balm Review

Hi Everyone!!!

I am back with a review on another lip balm. You might be thinking what’s up with this girl and lip balms and eyeshadows. Hehe. I have a habit to apply lip balm every 3-4 hours whenever I am at home or in the hostel. So, I tend to collect a lot of them. Moreover, you know my stress-motivated impulsive online shopping. I am going through a very stressful period – my exams are near and the only time I am able to relax is shopping, reading and writing reviews on IMBB and commenting on your reviews. 😛

Nivea Pure and Natural Olive and Lemon Lip Balm Review

So, here comes review of another lip balm from Nivea. It is named as Pure and Natural Olive and Lemon Lip Balm.  I wanted to try this because it claims to be natural and I was in need of a natural lip balm because of my habit of applying it frequently.

Lip Balm

My Take on Nivea Pure and Natural Olive and Lemon Lip Balm:

This lip balm comes in a stick packaging like all other Nivea lip balms, which I absolutely adore because of hygiene purposes. I hate to dip my finger in lip balms with tub packaging. The cover is translucent green and fits properly on the base. It is travel friendly and sturdy.

Lip Balm Nivea

Now, coming to the lip balm stick, it is sheer green in color. When I saw it for the first time, I was like how do they expect me to apply a green lip balm. 😛 but, I heaved a sigh of relief when I applied it on my lips and it turned out to be non tinted. The other thing I absolutely loved when I applied it on my lips for the first time was its moisturising power. It is more moisturising that the tinted Nivea lip balms I have. It glides very easily and smoothly on the lips and gives a nice sheen to the lips for an hour or so. The moisturising effect stays on my lips for 3-4 hours, after which I reapply.  It has the fragrance of lemon and is very mild. It lingers on my lips for a few minutes.

Lip Balm 2

I don’t find it to be sticky and no matter how many times I swipe, it doesn’t leave a whitish cast on my lips. It even helps in healing of chapped lips and when I apply it the night, I wake up with smooth and soft lips. I absolutely adore this lip balm and moreover, it claims to be free of preservatives and to be natural, isn’t that a big advantage?

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Nivea Pure and Natural Olive and Lemon Lip Balm?

I definitely recommend it. You should try this if you are a fan of Nivea lip balms and are looking for non tinted, natural lip balms. However, I doubt I am going to repurchase it. I already have tons of lip balms and by the time I finish this, I am sure I am going to get a few more. 😛
