Today’s review is about Nivea SOS Repair and Care Hand Cream.

My Experience with Nivea SOS Repair and Care Hand Cream:
This happens to be my first Nivea hand cream. I wanted to try something really strong and keep it ready for the winter months. My palms get extremely dry and need extreme moisturising during peak winter months. So, I bought in this hand cream seeing “SOS”!
The packaging is perfect for hand bag. It is a small tube of just 50 ml and fits inside a small handbag or even a clutch. So, it is easy and handy to carry during travels and in everyday handbag.
The consistency of the cream is pretty thick. Its one of the thickest creams, I have used till date. The cream spreads well over the hand but it does take some time to get absorbed in to the skin. Other than that, it will instantly moisturise the skin and provides the required relief. Panthenol is an ingredient that helps in relieving the dryness and tightness, resulting soft hands.
Who does not like the mild calendula fragrance? The fragrance is lovable. It is mild and feels soothing.
I apply the product, every time I wash my hand. Applying just once will not help. The hands do feel dry after every wash.
Overall, I am okay with the product.
The only thing, I do not like about this product is the fact that it takes time to get absorbed. The hand feels slightly oily even after sometime. So, if you want to work on a laptop or use the touch screen of a mobile or write with a pen it is obstructing. I get little conscious and use only my fingertips.

The brand, Nivea is an all time favourite. Most of its product are very moisturizing and nourishing.
I love hand creams and who does not love Nivea. Why do they not launch more products in India. You seem to have such a big collection of their products now.
It seems to be an affordable hand cream and calendula’s fragrance is so soothing 🙂
