My Experience with Nivea Ultra Strong Styling Spray:

The product comes in 250 ml metal canned bottle. It has a plastic like cap on the top but this houses the spray nozzle. The metallic light blue color is similar to all the hair styling products. The product doesn’t have any seal and I am not sure if anyone has used this as this was the last one available. So, you need to make sure to pick wisely. There is a lot of information on the bottle.

The nozzle disperses the liquid effectively. It is like a mist instead of water spray like. I absolutely love most sprays for hair because, it doesn’t settle in one place. It has a strong metallic kind of fragrance due to the pressurized contents, but it is smelt only when it is being applied and after which it fades away. The product is very easy to use. Once you have made your hair, you need to hold the can away and spray all over your hair to get a good hold.

There are 2 variants available, extra strong and ultra-strong. I picked up the maximum hold spray. One of the big issues with strong hold sprays is that it leaves a residue which causes stiffness. But, I didn’t notice that with this spray. It doesn’t leave any residue and the hair feels natural. It does cause a little bit of stiffness if you apply it holding very close to the hair.

You can use the hair spray for different purposes like for hold or for styling. The product can be used for holding the hairstyle or to tame the curls when you have free hair. The product holds the hair perfectly without any issues, but I am not sure about the claim of ultra-strong. I noticed that it doesn’t hold the style for more than 4-5 hours and also I do not feel it really holds the style very strong. It has a hold power of 5, but I would give it a 3 for its power. The product works very well when you need to tame the frizz or create a sleek look. You can just spray a little on the brush and comb back your tiny hair and it sits in place without any issue.

The product doesn’t contain paraben too which is a plus. The product also comes with a heat protection factor and I think this is a great move by Nivea as you do not have to use 2 products if you want to use heat tools for your hair. I love the ultra-strong spray, but I only wish it really did justice to its name of holding strong. So summing up:
