My Take on Nivea Visage Purifying Face Wash:

Have you picked up any product because you liked the bottle cover or say colour? No? But I did. I picked this up just for the lovely green-blue color 😛 Its my favourite colour. Though this was an impulsive buy, this one actually turned out to be quite a decent buy. I have oily skin and my skin “shines” (pun very much intended!) on my T-zone the most.

Well, first let’s talk about the packaging. It comes in a see-through plastic bottle with a flip-top cap. The face wash is a gel formula and has a very nice subtle fragrance. It also has very “tiny-miney” blue micro beads which are very gentle on the skin and it does not dry my skin out. Also, it doesn’t lather much because of its gentle formula. I dislike face/body washes which lather a lot, it just shows how much quantity of soap is present in the product. All in all, I would say it’s a good buy as an everyday use face wash. But does it control the shine as it claims? No, because the matte look lasts for about an hour or two only and then the shine is back.  The Nivea Refreshing Face Wash for normal to mixed skin is reviewed here.

Pros of Nivea Visage Purifying Face Wash:

  • Does not dry out my skin.
  • Pleasant fragrance.
  • Gentle and exfoliating beads in a face wash.

Cons of Nivea Visage Purifying Face Wash:

  • Contains SLS.
  • It is a bit price-y if compared to other drug store face washes like Ponds.
