At £4.85 for a 15 ml. bottle, they are definitely not the cheapest available. But for me this one was a present from my masi. She buys most of her stuff from boots.
Like most glitter nail polishes, it is basically a clear varnish with minute particles of glitter suspended in it. However, unlike the glitter polishes I have used before, the particles were either too small or too thinly dispersed because even after two coats the sparkle was barely evident.
The bottle assures me that this product is fragrance free, hypoallergenic and conditioning. I’m not sure that a product like nail polish, which smells strongly of…well…nail polish, can legitimately be described as fragrance free but one thing I did notice was that the smell lingers on and on and on, long after the polish has dried. Like with most polishes (or not)
The integral brush with which the enamel is applied is too thick and unwieldy, painting not just my nails but the sides of my fingers and my cuticles too. The overall effect is messy, particularly as the polish takes so long to dry and is thus very prone to smudging.
Pros of no 7 colour lock nail enamel:
• 474 bronze berry is a lovely winter shade.
• It is deep berry like and can be used as a good substitute for striking reds
• For girls who like shimmer in their polish with not overdoing it this is a good option
• The quantity, the bottle is pretty big. Bigger than the usual nail varnishes
• If kept for long this does not dry fast. I have been using this bottle since over 8 months now. I used it in winters.
Cons of no 7 colour lock nail enamel:
• Does not really lock in the colour as it does not dry super fast.
• The colour stayed on as it is for not more than 2 days and started chipping.
• The smell is very paint like. Dislike 🙁
• No 7 are not to be found anywhere apart from boots in England.
• Not a colour which would attract me towards itself.
• Am not too fond of shimmer.
• Chips real soon
• I have tried few other no7 products and this one did not come up to my expectation.

It is quite a pretty shade FG… i think lakme has a similar one with red shimmer. 😀 bad it turn turn out to be good. :((

During my college days, time and again I was brain storming what I could venture into for some extra pocket money. Of all the passing thoughts and ideas, chocolate making caught my attention. I had been making chocolates for a long time but not forcommercial purposes. But the appreciation that I used to get for my chocolates was overwhelming. I discussed this idea with few people and received encouragement and support from all over . So a passing thought turned into a great idea which in turn became an endeavor for me.
