Not Your Mother’s Way To Grow Long and Strong Conditioner Review

Hello all,

After reviewing the Clean Freak shampoo from the Not Your Mother’s brand, I am reviewing a conditioner that I had picked up.

My Experience with Not Your Mother’s Way To Grow Long and Strong Conditioner:

I have naturally thick and wavy hair. I have an oily scalp; my hair is not overtly oily, but it tends to get a bit greasy after 3-4 days of shampooing.

Packaging: The conditioner comes in a plastic squeezable tube with some funky red imagery on it which is really attractive. The cap shuts tight and there is no danger of any product leakage, but the 8 fl oz tube is slightly bulky and not exactly travel friendly. They do not have any smaller travel-friendly sizes.

Fragrance: The conditioner has a very mild fruity fragrance which is quite nice. It is not overpowering and I believe those with sensitive noses will also not mind it. However, the scent does not stay for long in the hair and fades away even before I step out of the bathroom.

Performance: The conditioner is white in color and has a medium consistency, almost like a mousse. It is easy to apply it because it spreads well through the hair. I typically leave it in my hair for a minute or so before rinsing it off with warm water. I like that the conditioner washes away pretty well and does not leave any sticky residue/film like some conditioners do. It does not aggravate any hair fall.

Not Your Mother's Way To Grow Long and Strong Conditioner

My hair feels smooth and tangle-free post applying the conditioner and it surely becomes much more manageable. My hair feels silkier after a blow-dry and I also do not see to many flyaways. The conditioner is quite lightweight and it does not weigh down my hair like some other conditioners tend to do in 2-3 days.
