This is my first product from Note cosmetics and I was speculative about how this would fare on me. But since this eye pencil was very affordable and claimed to provide an automatic intense look, I wanted to give it a try. So, here is its review.

My Experience with Note Cosmetics Automatic Intense Look Eye Pencil:
Well I’ve tried almost every good kajal from the drugstore brands that were budget-friendly like that from Essence, Maybelline colossal, L’Oreal Magique, Lakme Iconic, Catrice Kohl Kajal and many more. I wanted to test this one as well, as this was priced very reasonable. This is my first buy from Note Cosmetics and I had no idea how this brand products would fare. I gave it a shot looking at the name of the eye pencil. I wanted to test this one and see if it really delivered an automatic intense look like it claims.
When I first received the product, I saw that it was a retractable pencil whose body is made of plastic and the packaging was quite decent. When it comes to kajal or eye pencil, I really don’t care if the pencil is retractable or sharpenable. I am fine with both kind of packaging unless it performs well. But, the advantage of the retractable pencil is that you need not carry a sharpener along or worry if it has come with a sharpener or not. Its quality of being a lightweight pencil and its retractable packaging (you need not carry an extra sharpener) makes it a travel-friendly product. If I am planning for a day out with friends or family and would want to carry some of my makeup for touch ups, this would be one of them. You have the shelf life of 24 months mentioned on the pencil and its name has been embossed in silver on it. I quite like the packaging of the product. The twist mechanism works well and doesn’t loosen up, but you need to press the cap twice to fix it properly until you hear the ‘tic’ sound. The kajal inside is nicely pointed at the end like that of the nib of a pen, but sadly it becomes flat after a couple of uses and doesn’t give a nice precision during application.
It glides easily on my eyes and the texture of it is smooth as well. It doesn’t irritate my eyes when I apply on waterline and is completely safe to use on sensitive eyes. It has been tested dermatologically and what I like about this pencil is that it is paraben free and has not been tested on animals. After Colorbar absolute kohl and Catrice kohl kajal -010 ultra black, this is my third one that I found to be intense and darkest black in color. It looks absolutely gorgeous after application and when it comes to kajals and black eye pencils, I prefer the color of the pencil to be intense black. I am glad I got this one for such an affordable price and it does all what it claims. It is waterproof as well and doesn’t come off easily when in contact with water. It doesn’t smudge either and stays in place for a long time. It smudges only when you apply pressure and doesn’t settle in the corner of the eyes too. It makes your eyes look vibrant in just one swipe and add to the appearance of face look.
The staying power is incredible! It stays for more than 24 hours and fades a little after 8 hours of application. I applied this kohl in the morning and didn’t fade completely until next day. However, it is a little hard to remove and it doesn’t come off easily with water. You may need an oil-based waterproof makeup remover to remove it completely. I use my very own favorite Garnier micellar oil-infused cleaning water to remove it and this water eases out my job. Since it’s an intense black color, it does smudge badly while removing makeup and may require multiple swipes to clean your eye makeup well. Overall, I am happy with how this one fared on me and I like it so much that I may get back to buy a second pencil after I finish this one.
