Tutorial: A very easy and wearable Nail Art
Hello Beauties.
This is my first article at IMBB and I am so excited.Yaay!!
Each of us may have wanted to get a nail art done at some time or the other, you can obviously get it done at salons but doing it yourself is fun and cheap too :P.I never got a nail art done professionally its too costly:(and also i get bored soon so i can’t keep the same design for more than five days therefore I have always done it myself.I recently started doing nail arts and i love doing it, i even did some for my friends.I like nail arts to be subtle and on one of the fingers of my hand.The nail art which i’ll be doing today can also be done on all the fingers.It looks good on short nails,I never tried on the long nails may be you guys should try it out and tell me how it turned out to be 🙂
Requirements:-
- Base coat and Top coat
- A nude or light brown nail paint
- A dark brown nail paint
- A black nail paint (or a black eyeliner)
- A tape
You can take any two colors you like one light to form the base and the darker one to be used in the design.
Step1 First apply the base coat to your nails here I am using Avon’s smooth beginnings though using a base coat is optional but it helps the nail paint stay on longer and also smoothen the surface of your nails and the color applied to the nails turns out to be better.
Step2 After applying the base coat apply the lighter color to your nails and let it dry completely before you do the next step
Step3 Now apply a tape to the finger you want to do the nail art on.You can apply the tape to all the fingers if you want to do the art.Apply the tape in a way that it leaves a triangle from either corner of your finger.I tried to take the picture but it didn’t come out to be clear :(. Hope it helps.
Step4 Take the tape off after the nail paint is dry.Let the nail paint dry completely before you take off the tape.Now take the black nail paint, you can use the nail art paint or use a thin brush to make these lines.I am using a black liner I didn’t like the liner so now i use it for nail arts :P.Just follow the line made by the tape and then draw a line parallel to it.Now just make dots in the corner I did it with brush itself you can use a toothpick.Just finish it with a top coat.The design should look something like this.
And we are done 🙂

u know what even i was planning to do a rocker chic version using a black n hot pink..then i dropped the idea!!!
he he..and I used net for the pattern…really loved it..Do try it out!! …Just put a base coat of bright pink color..let it dry..take an old net cloth..place it on your nail and coat it with black nail paint…I loved the pattern :inlove: and all people in office were like :-O he he he!!!
I mean the net pattern was separate design..the other was similar to this one!! :-/ 😛

Very nice n easy nail art. Will surely try it during dussehra holidays. Dnt hv a black nail paint, but hv a eye liner stylo. Dnt use liquid eye liner. Hope that can b used as well.
Why wait till dussehra?? I’v applied Avon simply pretty, color me pretty in champagne shimmer today mrng. Will try this out 2nite after reaching home.

Yeah even i have that sylo pen…u can use it for the nail art!!! but use it if u dnt use it on ur eye coz using it on the nail may spoil its tip ?:-)

I do not know why, but i never have tried nail art and dont intend to, as it doesn’t really suit me and what i wear.

About the nail paint i got it from one of the big bazaars here in delhi….cant say abt mumbai ?:-) ?:-) ..well its a brand by shringar..u can get it at local beauty stores…and the shade is called hazelnut 🙂

i even tried it today…with two different shades of pink… luking tooooo gud :yes: :yes: .. even my hubby complimented on it 😉 😛 .. didnt hav the black nail paint so instead used my Lakme liquid eyeliner .. although it get rubbed off easily bt the total effect was superb. :clap: :clap: thanks again deepika.. :-))

and for the liner part…after applying the liner..just finish it wid a transparent top coat…that’ll make it stay as gud as a nail paint 🙂

Actually bought the stylo to use for eyes bt hv’nt been able to use it till now. then won’t use it for nails if it wd damage the tip.
Planning to get a glittery nail paints (3 new glittery dark shades launched last month i think) from avon simply pretty color me pretty collection.
Ya coz the stylo has a felt tip…so i guess it may damage it…
the plum color in the three new shades looked good to me…coz thats the only shade i actly saw… the color in the catalogue can me misleading at times
