My Experience with Nudestix Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil Stiletto:
Nudestix have some amazing products in crayon form. The famous product of their line is magnetic lip color which is called as a lip tattoo, an unmovable lip color. The other famous product is their intense matte lip and cheek color. All the products from this brand are designed as easy to use crayons enriched with skin-saving vitamins, antioxidants and moisturizers. Each multipurpose Nudestic pencil is packed with goodness and they are free from harmful parabens, sulfates and phthalates.
Packaging: The packaging is just wow and innovative, all the crayons comes in a black matte cylindrical metallic box with the brand name on the top, so each pencil comes in it’s own tin with built-in mirror and sharpener which doubles as a pencil cap. The actual crayon is black in color and is sharpenable and has a color-coded strip in the bottom with the color name. The outer box is very roomy and has an huge mirror. It is one of the best packaging I have laid my eyes on. Sometimes, I pop some pencils in the tin to use it on the go.
Shade: There are around 10 shades in this range and I picked up the only red shade in the line called as “Stilleto”. Stilleto is a beautiful hot blue toned red color. This is a bright shade that will suit any complexion. The shade is very bright and will perk up any look instantly.
Formula: These pencils are multipurpose products that act as a lip liner, lipstick and cream blush which is perfect for the busy person. The formula of these sticks are just out of this world, almost nothing like it I have tried before. It is non-drying and quite soft for a “matte” claimed pencil.
The pencils are all very pigmented and the texture is creamy, but it dries matte and it goes opaque with maximum coverage in one swipe. As with most matte lip colours, these look much better when applied to exfoliated lips but these are more moisturising than some other similar products I’ve tried. Initially, I loved these more as just a lip product but I have been using them more recently as a blush too and it blends so beautifully on the cheeks. There’s something really pretty about having your lips and cheek match and it adds to that effortless beauty look, though the red may look alarming they look good when blended subtly on the cheeks.
Lasting Power: I had worn it the whole day and have got to say, I got really awestruck by its longevity – both on my face and lips! Nudestix claims that it has an ultra long-wearing matte formula, which is waterproof, smudgeproof and non-feathering for up to six hours. And, that’s almost true. This one live up to its claims. Even though, they had claimed up to 6 hours, I had easily worn it, comfortably, for 8 hours on a casual day and it still remained on my lips with a slight fading after having oily food.
