Nurture Intensive Night Repair Eye Contour Serum Capsules Review

A month back while ordering some supplements on Healthspan, I looked in the Skincare section and found this Intensive Night Repair Eye Contour Serum Capsules. I had not used Retinol containing products earlier and the shape of the capsules was so cute that I ordered this.  I have very faint lines under the eye and thought I would try these capsules for some time.

What the Product Claims:

This specially formulated intensive eye treatment serum in a unique one-dose capsule contains pure micro-fused retinol (natural vitamin A), one of the most effective anti-ageing ingredients, and dermachlorella (a bio-marine extract of sea algae with dermo-cosmetic properties), which has been tested to visibly reduce fine lines and crow’s feet around the eye area.

It works overnight to help smooth out the appearance of superficial lines, to reveal smoother, younger-looking eyes after 4 weeks use. With continued use you should see even greater results. One capsule contains a special measured dose, enough for both eyes.

My Take on Nurture Intensive Night Repair Eye Contour Serum Capsules:

Every night for the last 3 weeks, I have been using these. Take one capsule at night and snip off the top. A very pale green serum is packed in each capsule. Avoiding contact with eyes, I apply it with my fingertips gently below the eye and the area where crow’s feet occur.

The serum is so silky to feel and it gets absorbed instantly. For the first few days, I did experience some red tiny breakouts on my cheeks, but they disappeared soon. This was the first time I was using Retinol, so maybe it took a couple of days for the skin to get adjusted.

In 3 weeks, I feel that the skin around the eyes has become smoother; lines will become lighter with regular use I feel. It makes the area around the eye firmer and moisturised.

I am going to try it for a few more months definitely.

Points to Remember:

1.  Use this only at night time, not during day time because vitamin A can oxidise when it comes into contact with sunlight and become ineffective.
2. Do not handle with wet hands.
3. Do not let the product get into your eyes.
4. Not all skins react well to Retinol, so do a patch test before you start using this.

Rating:

I will rate it 4 out of 5.  I am sure if I were to come back a couple of months later, I will rate this better.
