Nurture Protect Moisture Boosting Serum

Nurture Protect Moisture Boosting Serum

With the onset of winter, I have stocked up on lots of moisturisers, foot creams, baby oil and serums. The winters here in UK can be a nightmare for people with dry skin. I have been religiously taking care of my skin preparing it for the winters. The temperature is expected to hit -4 deg Celsius this weekend according to a leading news site, sigh!!!!

Nurture Protect Moisture Boosting Serum

Anyway, coming back to the product I am going to review today, it is the Nurture Protect – Moisture Boosting Serum. I had purchased this along with the Eye Serum Capsules a few months back and have been using it ever since. The serum comes in a sturdy little bottle with a pump kind of dispenser. It dispenses just the right amount. You need a very little amount of the serum to cover your face and neck.

The serum is white and creamy with a very subtle addition of green micro glitter. I feel the addition of glitter was not required. The serum is easy to apply; it glides easily onto the skin and within a few minutes is easily absorbed. I avoid my T-zone as it is oily and use it only on the rest of the face. On most days, I do not need to use a moisturiser after using this. It keeps my skin supple and moisturised for a good 5-6 hours. If you use it at night, you will wake up with soft and supple skin. I have used this at times in the night instead of a night cream.

Cost:

30ml for £9.95.

Pros of Nurture Protect Moisture Boosting Serum:

  • It is hypoallergenic; so even those with very sensitive skin can use it without fear.
  • It has no artificial preservatives, colours or fragrances.
  • Contains Neutrazen, this has been proved to maintain and restore your skin’s sensitivity threshold; also helps in calming and soothing irritated skin.
  • A small quantity suffices for each use, so the bottle will last a good amount of time and there is practically no wastage as the dispenser is just perfect.
  • Easy to carry around.

Cons of Nurture Protect Moisture Boosting Serum:

  • Nothing major except I don’t like the green glitter. It’s very very small, in fact you may not even notice it, but if you are out in the sunlight or under artificial light, it may sparkle 🙂

Will I Buy Nurture Protect Moisture Boosting Serum Again?

Yes, I already have stocked up on it to last me through this winter.

    1. Shruti,

its only available online on Healthspan website.
      They ship Worldwide.
I have used the site to send stuff back home in India. When I had sent it last, no matter how many prodcuts you send (whatever weight) they have a flat shipping of £4 for India.
So if you are buying other stuff from them, it will be worthwhile.

  1. Seems pretty nice! :woot: But the green micro glitter is a total turn off for me. :nababana:
    Nice review,Dee! :thanks:

    1. Thanks Prags.
Yes – the green glitter was a turn off for me too.
But now I am okay with it cos if I am heading out, I would normally use pressed powder and the glitter is not visisble at all…
I couldnt capture it in the photos, but the glitter is very very micro…you cannot see it on first glance…
