This is my second post on IMBB. I am so happy at  becoming an IMBBian that I feel like jumping and shouting and squealing…SQUEEEEE!!!! The product I am reviewing today is Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm . It is a cult Lip Balm from the brand NUXE and one its bestselling products.

About the Brand:

NUXE is a French brand better known for its skincare products.
NUXE claims:
A repairing, nourishing lip balm with a rich, delicious texture to restore suppleness and comfort to dry and chapped lips. A must-have product: one is sold every 28 seconds throughout the world*!
With its formula tested in extremely cold conditions in Canada, comfort is restored to chapped lips (96%**). They are nourished (82%**), repaired (96%**) and protected (91%**).

My experience with Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm

I know I must not reveal all the secrets in the beginning of the review,but I absolutely love this lip balm. I have extremely dry lips. The problem with my lips is so intense that they become chapped after 2-3 hours of lipstick wear . But this lip balm has become my HG lip protector.

The packaging of the balm is in a frosted glass jar which looks quite thick. I know many people prefer their lip balm in stick form. But for me none of those have worked so far, so I am happy with any packaging if the product works. Being a glass jar, it is not very travel-friendly.

The texture of the balm is a bit thick. A small quantity is needed to cover the lips. It melts a few minutes after application and does not feel heavy on the lips at all. The balm in the jar has yellowish undertones but once applied, it is completely transparent. It has a mild fragrance of a combination of orange and honey, which vanishes as soon as it is applied ( I personally love the smell). It does not make the lips shiny after application and has a matte finish on lips.

I have used it both as a day and night balm and it is so perfect that I cannot find a single fault with it. Its effect is really long-lasting, around 8-10 hours. As a day balm, it keeps my lips soft, smooth, moisturized and free from flakiness for hours. Drinks and meals do not affect its presence much. As a night balm, it is THE BEST balm ever. No matter how rough my lips get due to non-application of the balm or prolonged matte lipsticks wear, it makes my lips soft, smooth and happy after just a night of application. Thus, it has repairing properties too. It totally does what it claims and more. Since its effect is long-lasting, therefore reducing the number of re-applications and a small quantity per use is sufficient, the jar should last about 6-8 months. It is a total value for money product.

I absolutely adore everything about this product, from its packaging to its results and I would definitely repurchase it if I can. I would recommend it to all those beauties who suffer from dry and chapped lips to give this a try and let the results blow their mind 😉
