How to Apply:
First apply to the centre of the lips and follow the contours of the mouth.

My Experience with NYC #301 City Cherry City Proof Matte Long Lasting Blur Lip Color:
NYC City Proof Matte Long Lasting Blur Lip Color comes in a sealed package with information on the top of the seal. The lip color like most of the products from this range has two sides; one side houses the lip color and the other side has a sponge-like smudger. The packaging is sleek and is travel-friendly. The lip color comes in a twist up, lip pencil like form, making it perfect for filling in the corner of the lips. However, the lip color is a bit thicker than a conventional lip liner.
The shade, “City Cherry” is a beautiful cool red/cherry color. The color has good pigmentation and masks the pigmentation on the lips. The lip color is buildable, and one can intensify the color with multiple strokes. The color is very subtle and is a perfect everyday shade. The lip color can be blurred to create a natural ombre effect.
The lip color has a super creamy texture because of which it gets damaged easily. The lip color also melts very fast on application. It does provide a moisturising effect to the lips. But, it is mandatory to keep them well-moisturised before applying this lip color. The color does transfer, and the longevity of the lip color is hardly 3-4 hours.
The color fades away very soon which is such a bummer. The only downside of the product is that it finishes off sooner. It has been hardly a month using this lip color, almost every other day, and the product is already half done and building it up will cause it to finish much sooner. The product is expensive for a drugstore brand and for the quantity too.

It is a good shade. So yes, I do recommend the product. But, I might not repurchase it again.
