I simply cannot have enough red lipsticks in my stash. I want them in all textures, tones and finishes! Crazy as it may sound, more often than not, I end up wearing red when I go out! This was a lipstick I picked in UK as they have an NYC display in Superdrug these days. I don’t remember the cost, but overall, this turned out to be a nice budget drugstore red lipstick.

My Experience with NYC 452 Red Suede Expert Last Satin Matte Lip Color:
This lipstick comes in a very plain simple plastic tube, the cap being clear. The lipstick juts out and doesn’t twist back in, and that’s a big pain! You can see how much damaged the lipstick has gotten, due to this fact.
“Red Suede” is a shade of red, it’s a classic red, but slightly on the mature side. I think it is a safe red to own. I can wear it easily during the day too.
This lipstick is in no way matte, contrary to its name; it has a creamy satin sheen finish. The creamy texture could remind you of those old school slick finish lipsticks in maroons that our moms used to wear.
The lipstick is pigmented and glides well, it is smooth and creamy. Women with dry lips can easily wear it too. You can expect 2-3 hours of wear time with this. If you like reds, this is an affordable one, but not matte.
