But, this time, I decided to overcome my skepticism and buy some of the products. And, I am glad I decided to try this product because it was a win–win. Keep reading to know more about it!

My Experience with NYC City Proof 24 Hour Eye Shadow in Murray Hill Champagne:
Shadow sticks are very handy and easy to use for beginners. When I am in a rush, I don’t find myself reaching for palettes or quads, but just a cream shadow or liner which I can apply easily on my lids and smudge out. At times, I use them as kohl or eye liner to keep things interesting and use some other color on my water line instead of the good old black. This product, in similar manner, can be used in several ways and just for $3, one gets to put one product to multiple uses.
Packaging: It is a chubby shadow stick with a twist up mechanism. It has a clear cap and outer covering of the stick represents the color of the shade.
Texture: It is not very creamy, but works in favor since it does not smudge or smear that easily. But, is easy to apply on the lids without much tugging or pulling; however, if one wants a smokey look or a more blended look, one has to work faster since it settles within a matter of seconds and does not budge after that.
Color: Very pretty champagne shade with gold undertones.
Pigmentation: Very good pigmentation. I gently swiped it on my palm and it gave a good color pay off. Two swipes are enough to get an intense eye look. A normal blending brush or fingertips are enough to get the desired color, but on darker lids, it might not be so obvious. So, for darker skin toned beauties, it is advisable to conceal the darkness and may be apply a darker shade underneath to make this shadow more apparent. It can be used as an eyeshadow base and increase wear time of not so good eyeshadows. It can be used on the water line, but we all know that lighter shades don’t last that long and need to be replied.
Wear Time: Entire day or rather 9 to 5 working hours. It is one of those products which do not require primer to increase their wear time or intensify the look.
Conclusion: It claims to be water proof, smudge proof and tear proof and trust me, it is! Once set in place, it does not move and one needs a good makeup remover to remove it.
