Here comes another lipstick from my recent haul. I picked up this shade thinking pink lips look sweet and rosy; kind of changed my mind after application. Pink is bold too!

My Experience with NYC Expert Last Lip Color #447 Forever Fuchsia:

NYC Expert Last Lip Color comes in simple tube with transparent cap. The color of the tube shows the color of the lipstick, also the lipstick is clearly visible from cap. It is a very ordinary packaging but is quite sturdy. The only issue with the packaging is that one needs to be very careful while closing the cap as it may stain the cap which happens with me a lot. I prefer tubes where lipstick can be twisted inside completely for better protection.

As the name suggests, Forever Fuchsia is a very bright pink lip color. It gives very bold look to the lips; definitely not a daily wear shade for me! Overall pigmentation is good; I needed 2-3 swipes for getting good opaque coat. The texture is very light and feels good on lips. If lips are dry, this one tends to enhance fine lines. Therefore, exfoliation is must before applying it. My lips are normally dry and I wear lip balms most of the time. This lipstick is not very hydrating but at the same time does not dry out the lips. I guess this shade will look good with right kind of outfit; may be a traditional saree or lehnga for the wedding parties. I can’t think of wearing it for casual hangouts.

This lipstick has a very mild fruity smell which disappears gradually. Lasting power is decent; I wore it for 3-4 hours without any trouble or reapplication. Overall quality of lipstick is good at this price point.
