NYC Fuchsiatastic Get It All Lip Color Review

New York Colors Cosmetics released some new makeup products recently and these are called “Get It All.” Now that is a fun name to have for a range. I did not get it all, but I did pick up a few lipsticks from this range 😛 Priced at only $2.99 each, this lipstick surely doesn’t hurt the pocket. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Fuchsiatastic” for you. Read on to find out if I liked it or not.

My Experience with NYC Fuchsiatastic Get It All Lip Color:

Packaging: This lipstick comes in a sleek packaging with a transparent cap. The bottom part of the packaging matches the lipstick shade. The sticker at the bottom of the tube carries the name of the lipstick. The packaging is okay but feels slightly cheap, but at this price point, I guess I should not be complaining about the packaging.

Shade/Pigmentation: “Fuchsiatastic”as the name suggests, is a vibrant fuchsia shade. Even though it is a bright shade, it does not look garish. It is a shade which will suit most skin tones and will look lovely with traditional Indian wear.

The lipstick is superbly pigmented and one swipe is enough to take care of even pigmented lips.

Texture/Finish:  The texture of the lipstick is slightly weird. It is not exactly creamy but is slightly greasy and sticky like a balm. It is pretty smooth to apply and there is no tugging as you apply it to your lips.

The finish is a glossy shiny one. The lipstick doesn’t feel drying and keeps the lips fairly moisturized, but it does feel slightly sticky if you purse your lips together. The lipstick does not settle into lip lines nor does it feather or migrate.

The staying power of the lipstick is average. It transfers and stays for around 4 hours with minimal snacking. It leaves behind a dark pink stain.

The lipstick has a slight waxy smell which reminds me of old lipsticks, but it is a scent which fades away pretty soon.

Overall, I am pretty impressed with the pigmentation and the finish of the lipstick, especially so, because this is only a $3 lipstick. The name “Get It All” is justified after all.

Pros of NYC Fuchsiatastic Get It All Lip Color:

• Lovely shiny finish.
• Does not feel drying.
• Does not settle into lip lines.
• Does not migrate or feather.
• Very affordable.

• Average staying power – around 4 hours.
• Transfers.
• Flimsy packaging.
• Feels slightly sticky on the lips.

Yes, if you are looking for some cheap lipstick with superb pigmentation, you can surely try this one out.
I will not repurchase the exact same shade but will surely purchase more shades from the range.
