NYC IncREDdible Get It All Lip Color Review

New York Colors Cosmetics released some new makeup products recently and these are called “Get It All” lip colors. I picked up a few lipsticks from this range and I have already reviewed the shades “Fuchsiatastic” and “FabFuschia” for you. Today, I am reviewing the shade “IncREDdible.” Read on to find out if I liked it or not.

My Experience with NYC IncREDdible Get It All Lip Color:

Packaging: This lipstick comes in a sleek packaging with a transparent cap. The bottom part of the packaging matches the lipstick shade.

The sticker at the bottom of the tube carries the name of the lipstick. The packaging is okay but feels slightly cheap. But then you are only paying 3 dollars for it.

Shade/Pigmentation:  “IncREDdible” is a lovely deep red shade. It is a shade which instantly adds a pop of color to the face. It will suit a wide range of skin tones.

The pigmentation of the lipstick is quite strong and one swipe is enough to take care of even pigmented lips.

Texture/Finish:  The texture of the lipstick is somewhere between a balm and a crème lipstick. While it does provide the hydration of a crème lipstick, it feels slightly sticky like a balm. It applies well without any tug. The finish of the lipstick is a glossy shiny one.

The lipstick doesn’t feel drying and keeps the lips fairly moisturized throughout its wear time, but it does feel slightly sticky if you purse your lips together. The lipstick does not settle into lip lines. It also does not feather or migrate despite being creamy in texture. This is pretty commendable for a lipstick which is so inexpensive.

I found the staying power of this range to be quite average. This lipstick is particularly quite poor in staying power and it does not last beyond 3 hours. It transfers quite a bit during its stay. It leaves behind a dark pink stain.

The lipstick has a slight waxy smell which sensitive noses will not like, but it is a scent which fades away pretty soon.

Overall, I am pretty impressed with the pigmentation and the finish of the lipstick, especially so, because this is only a $3 lipstick.

Pros of NYC IncREDdible Get It All Lip Color:

• Gorgeous red shade.
• Strong pigmentation.
• Lovely shiny finish.
• Does not feel drying.
• Does not settle into lip lines.
• Does not migrate or feather.
• Very affordable.

Cons of NYC IncREDdible Get It All Lip Color:

• Poor staying power.
• Transfers.
• Flimsy packaging.
• Feels slightly sticky on the lips.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend NYC IncREDdible Get It All Lip Color?
Well, this is not a must-have lipstick, but it offers some nice finish and pigmentation for the price. So, you can buy it if you are on the lookout for some inexpensive lipstick.  I will not repurchase the exact same shade.
