My Experience with NYC New York Color Big City Berry Expert Last Lip Lacquer:

I was so thrilled when I saw this at the NYC counter. I had to pick up the red coral and thickest lip color ever. This is not a gloss, but reminds me of Rimmel London Apocalips, texture-wise. This is rightly named “Lacquer.” It’s super thick in consistency and pigmented, feels almost like liquid lipstick, but stays very high shine and glossy.

“Big City Berry” is a red-coral shade, very opaque, and the finish of course is shiny. You need just one swipe to fill in, or you could pipe down the consistency with your fingertip. This is lovely to wear during the evening with a neat eyeliner. I love how pouty it makes the lips look.

Considering its thick texture, it can bleed, but still survives very well and stays in place. You could try a lip primer or fill in the lips with a lip liner to provide a base for the lip lacquer to stay. This could also get to your teeth easily. Take my word, less is more with this lip color.

This shade has shimmer, it’s very creamy and shiny. You could wear it if you are warm toned, and even other skin tones could give it a shot. Wear time is very above average for such a texture, three or more hours, but it transfers everywhere, needless to say.
