I love decorating my lip with beautiful colours, but I am a clumsy lipstick user. My Experience with NYC Smooch Proof 16H Lip Stain – Champagne Stain:

This is my first ever lip stain. It comes in a marker like packaging, which is very handy and travel friendly. I always keep it in my handbag. It has a pen-like tip which allows precise application of colour. NYC Smooch Proof 16Hour Lip Stain is a lightweight lip colour. It smells like cherries, which is very tempting. The colour “Champagne Stain” is a pink shade with brown undertone, and this colour comes out well on my pigmented lips.

The lips feel a bit dry if they are not moisturised properly before using this lip stain.  So, I always apply lip balm on my lips before using NYC Lip Stain.  Now, about the staying power, I am quite happy with it. I wear it mostly at work or sometimes at home also. It lasts me through one meal and 2-3 coffee breaks, though the colour fades a bit, it still looks like a beautiful pink.  I feel the 16-hour staying claim is bit too much; it stays well for 6-8 hours, which is quite good for me. With single swipe, it gives more natural colour and with multiple swipes, it gives a sexy bright colour. It has matte texture, so it’s perfect for day time and for work.
