Why can’t we all have flawless skin without trying? Like effortlessly beautiful. But as we all know beauty comes with a price which is obviously the intake of a good diet and a good skin regime. Did you guys really think I was talking about plastic surgery? 😛  Our body is a canvas and makeup is our tool to paint our body with beauty. Wow, that sounds poetic. I’m a science student by the way, but loved my English lessons. Anyway, coming back to the topic – what’s the one thing that bothers us the most? Dark circles and acne scarring? Hell yes! We look for different concealers and foundations and end up spending thousands in search of that one product which will work its wonder on us. What if I tell you that the solution to your problem lies in a little jar of concealer priced at only 390 bucks? Would you believe me? My Experience with NYX Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer:

It comes in a cute little jar and weighs 7 gm, so the quantity is not much, but is acceptable. The shade in which I own this concealer is “CJ04-Beige.” The consistency of this product is creamy. NYX claims that this product is crease free, lightweight and gives full coverage. Does it lives up to its claims? Yes! However, if you’re looking for full coverage, you need to build up this product, otherwise it provides medium coverage.

Personally, I really like this product because it is very convenient to blend in and the packaging is travel friendly. So you can pop this in your bag and it won’t even occupy much space because of its small size. Staying power of NYX Concealer Cache-Cernes is great but it is advisable that you always set your concealer with powder. I use my my NYX Powder foundation to set it and the results are amazing. Although the texture of this concealer is creamy and blends well, I suggest that you use a moisturizer or a primer before putting this on otherwise it might look patchy. Simply dab it-on and blend it with your finger, brush or beauty sponge.

• It doesn’t come with any spatula, so girls with long fingernails like me, are going to have a struggle taking this out. Solution to that is apply it with a brush and blend with your fingers.

Would I Repurchase NYX Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer?

Yes! In fact I found this shade which matches exactly with my skin tone and can be used to cover pimple redness on my cheeks. However, Sephora is one stubborn thing and would not restock it. *Sobs*

Would I Recommend NYX Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer?

Yes definitely! Go buy it and you would not be disappointed.
