This is the first NYX nude matt shadow I bought as a part of my Ulta haul and also chose to review it under the sponsored scheme.

My Experience with NYX Bare My Soul Nude Matte Shadow:
Packaging: Packing is nice. It is smaller than my MAC mono eye shadows; product comes in a nice little shiny black case. A clear window shows the product and has NYX Nude Matte Eye shadow printed in black lettering. On the back is an ingredients sticker that also tells the name of the color. These are quite small but the outer packaging is wider/taller than my Urban Decay single eye shadows.
Texture: it is a powder – compact eye shadow set in a circular aluminum pan and has very smooth texture, a little fall out and easy to apply and blend. It has a matt finish and this particular shade can be used in crease to add more depth or smokiness. It is however, extremely dry and can be used with a wet brush to intensify the look.
Color: it is a soft grey color with brown undertones and has more of warm undertones hence suits my complexion.
Pigmentation: pigmentation is not that good but most dry eye shadows can’t be worn without a good eye primer anyway. I gently swiped my finger tips on the shadows a few times to pick up some product for the swatches and was delighted to see that it had minimal fallout. It is a dry/wet shadow and can be used either way but it gives a better wear time if applied with a damp brush and a primer underneath.
Application: I used it on my lids but mostly in my crease to add more definition to my eyes and I liked the result. Mostly I refrain from ashy shadows least they make me look dull but this one did the opposite and accentuated my complexion.
Wear time: 8 to 9 hours and maybe more but I removed it after that but it did stay put during the entire duration I wore it. One can be increase the wear time if one uses primer or white eye shadow underneath.
Conclusion: this is a very good product for the money paid – and this shade was a pleasant surprise. I bought 4 shadows from this range and all of them are unique shades. I prefer palettes since they occupy less space but the colors were so irresistible that I had to try out these shadows.

• Not available in India yet.
• Less quantity.

No, because it will last me a long time but I am planning to buy all the colors form this range since they perform so well and are so easy on my pocket. This range from NYX is worth a try.
