today, I am reviewing the shade “Chaos” for all of you. Read on to find out whether I liked this lipstick or not.

My Experience with NYX Chaos Extra Creamy Round Lipstick:
Packaging: This lipstick comes in a simple black packaging with a transparent band at one end which shows the color of the lipstick. The cap shuts tight with a click and there is no chance of the cap coming off loose even if you toss the lipstick around in your bag. The sticker at the top has the name of the shade. I personally find the packaging a bit too simple and little cheap.
Shade and Pigmentation: “Chaos” is a vibrant red lipstick. It is slightly blue based but still warm enough to look good on medium skin tones. The lipstick is sure a stunner but not one which all will be able to wear with ease due to its brightness.
The pigmentation of the lipstick is quite intense. A single swipe is enough to achieve full opacity, multiple swipes does not make the application patchy.
Texture and Finish: This lipstick is quite creamy and glides on the lips. There is no tug at all during the application. However, I feel that all that creaminess makes it very easy to mess up the application. I would strongly recommend using a lip liner with this one. The finish of the lipstick is a shiny glossy one.
The lipstick does not feel drying on the lips. Also, it does not accentuate the lines and dry patches on the lips.
One thing that I wanted to mention about this lipstick is that it has a slightly weird smell. It is not really too strong and goes away after application.
Staying Power: The lipstick transfers a lot and I surely do not like how it leaves behind red lip stains on cutlery and cups throughout the day. The lipstick stays for around 4 hours and does not last a full meal, but that is expected from a lipstick this creamy.
Pros of NYX Chaos Extra Creamy Round Lipstick:
- Bright, “attention-seeking” red shade.
- Strong pigmentation.
- Nice glossy finish.
- Does not feel drying on the lips.
- Very affordable.
Cons of NYX Chaos Extra Creamy Round Lipstick:
- The lipstick has a slightly weird smell.
- Slightly flimsy packaging.
- This particular shade might not appeal to all.
- Transfers a lot.
- Average staying power – around 4 hours.

Would I Repurchase NYX Chaos Extra Creamy Round Lipstick?
I would not recommend as it is not a must-have lipstick. I will not repurchase the exact same shade.
