My Experience with NYX Dark Circle Concealer:

I suffer from heavy under eye dark circle problem. I have tried colour correctors high and low. So when I came across NYX Dark Circle Concealer I was super excited. It had the main component I was searching for – peachy salmon undertones that cancels the blue tones of my dark circles. The product comes in a black cardboard box with the name of the product and the ingredients list. The product itself comes in a round jar. The cap specifies the name – NYX Dark Circle Concealer. The back specifies the shade of the concealer. Overall, the packaging is lightweight and very travel-friendly.

The NYX Dark Circle Concealer comes in four shades: Fair, Light, Medium and Deep, and the Deep shade suits Indian skin-tones the best. The texture of the concealer is creamy and it glides on easily. It has a semi-thick consistency and, due to its peachy colour, it conceals my under eye darkness very well. To avoid the under eye creasing I set the concealer with a translucent powder. The concealer does an excellent job of covering dark circles, however this concealer doesn’t brighten my under eye.

So if I want to brighten my under eye I go with a lighter concealer over the NYX Dark Circle Concealer. This concealer provides medium to full coverage. Keep in mind that a little goes a long way with this product, so apply sparingly and build up to the desired coverage. This concealer has a good longevity and stays put for 6 to 7 hours. You can easily remove this concealer with a makeup remover. Overall, I am really happy with NYX Dark Circle Concealer and I feel everyone should give this product a try.

Pros of NYX Dark Circle Concealer:

• Packaging is sturdy and nice
• Covers dark circles pretty well
• Medium shade is a peachy concealer which works as a corrector
• Extremely comfortable
• Stays on the lid for about 6 to 7 hours
• Affordable
• Easily available

Cons of NYX Dark Circle Concealer:

• None; I am totally in love with this product

IMBB Rating: 5/5

  1. I’m intrigued Akshata, and I think I will give this another go based on your review (and high rating). I tried this concealer a couple of months ago and didn’t like it much. IMHO it doesn’t hold a candle to GA’s Master Corrector or BB’s Corrector which are at the top of my list. But at this price point, there are hardly any comparable products. Wish me luck as I try it on again 😉
